2012 Holiday Giveaway!

I have to say that 2012 was an excellent year for A Hit of Sarah and it definitely would not have been so great without you; my readers. I can't even describe how thankful I am that people actually read the words on this blog. This year I've found that real journalism is something that is consistently declining in popularity, which, to me, is incredibly unfortunate. Introducing my blog to new readers this year the first thing I would hear them say about was always, "Wow. You actually write!". I believe that the web is currently cluttered with reblogging and reposting. There's not enough original content and actual WRITING on the internet. So it warms my heart that people appreciate what I'm doing here.

That said, as a gift to my readers, I'd like to present you with a special holiday giveaway in collaboration with two very special brands. The first being Front Row Society, a company I've been working with for years now and a group of individuals who have always supported and believed in A Hit of Sarah. The other, Georgian Beauty, a very young, small, jewelry brand, that I strongly support because the designer behind it is doing what she loves and actively chasing her dreams.

I have two very beautiful Front Row Society scarves shipped especially for this giveaway all the way from Berlin, Germany. The first is the Daria Sunset Scarf designed by Gergana Mollova. For this design Mollova was inspired by her young niece's drawings. It's a very colorful and unique piece. The second scarf is Touch of Blue designed by Margarida Malinha. Malinha drew inspiration from luid movements of the mind, where feelings are represented by colors. After an afternoon spent in front of the sea's strong blues, Touch of Blue was created from the reminder of the sudden movements of waves.

Next, I have two lovely pieces hand made in San Francisco from Georgian Beauty. Every Georgian Beauty piece is handmade by needlepoint. Glass beads and yarn are intertwined and hand-sewn on cotton fabric or ultra suede. Every piece takes hours to complete. Different materials like feathers, silver charms, leather, chains and wire beads create different but universal styles. These one of a kind pieces are made of luxury materials such as japanese seed beads, Swarovski crystals and semi-precious gems. For more information on Katuna Zarandia's unique jewelry check out her website. She is a designer I truly admire- with a creative vision, intricate designs, hard work ethic and all for doing what she loves.  There is nothing else like her jewelry im in the word.

In order to win the two beautiful Front Row Society scarves and one of a kind Georgian Beauty beaded bib necklace and cuff all you have to do is 'like' A Hit of Sarah, Front Row Society and Georgian Beauty on Facebook (Click the links). All it takes is a minute to win these incredibly unique gifts from A Hit of Sarah for the holidays. The winner will be announced on Wednesday, December 19th. The gift will be delivered to your home just in time for Christmas. Good luck and happy holidays! Xx

Special thanks to my good friend, Alia Barbano-George for modeling the Front Row Society scarves and for Farm Fresh Christmas Trees in Manhattan's West Village for letting us shoot with your beautiful tress.
