Angel Sanchez is a designer new to Lincoln Center...but you would never think so after attending his spring/summer 2013 collection presentation show there. At the show Sanchez's models lined up in a rectangle with a great red three-dimensional geometric shape chandelier above them. A variation of that same shape was seen throughout the collection in many different sizes and colors. That element pieced the whole collection together. Other interesting aspects of the collection included the cut of the looks, cool side slits, cut-out shapes, extravagant trains and bold colors. Overall the collection was cool, unique and pretty edgy. I would really love to own one of the intense trained gowns! It was a great first New York Fashion Week presentation and I really look forward to the next one. What do you think of Angel Sanchez's spring/summer 2013 collection?

Those amazing 3D-geographical-jewel earrings and motifs on the dresses are amazing. The thing I love about bloggers covering Fashion Week is that they blog about lesser-known designers too, instead of just focusing on legendary fashion houses. It's great for discovering new designers. Thanks for the post! :)
