Chic Set #2: Olympic Worthy Accessories

I apologize for the lack of posting lately. I've been having some computer issues. However, I have a great treat for you guys! Because of the success of the first chic set, I've decided to make it a permanent series on A Hit of Sarah. This edition is perfect if you'll be in London for the upcoming Olympic games, especially if you enjoy dressing to theme. A multitude of British designers have decided to show support for their country with London 2012 themed accessories. Although I'm not British nor attending the Olympic games, having lived in London for a bit of time and always loving the Union Jack print I fell in love with these pieces. I hope you will too! Keep calm and accessorize on.

The first few pieces (shown above) were my favorite of them all so I thought I would start there. From Right: 1. Lulu Guinness' snakeskin clutch  2. Jimmy Choo's studed denim shoe  3. Nancy Gonzalez's crocodile clutch. All three pieces perfectly rocking the Union Jack with some edge.

If you'll be at the Olympics you're definitely going to need a chic bag to carry your essentials in: a camera, water bottle, cellphone, some cash for snacks and souvenirs. I thought these two pieces would be perfect for the occasion: 1. Bally's leather bag.  2. MCM's coated canvas and leather. I cannot tell you how badly I'd love that MCM backpack.

Footwear is definitely important too. A comfort shoe would be perfect during the day since you'll be walking around to so many different sporting events. I'd go for a flashy heel for the after parties. Try these: 1. Y-3's neoprene sneakers  2. Aruna Seth's wedge covered in Swarovski elements. You just can't get any cooler than that.

Last but not least the accessories we always seem to forget and sometimes need the most. Most of the events will be outdoors so sunglasses are definitely necessary, as we'll you'll need that cute clutch for when you go out in the evenings. These will be perfect: 1. Jimmy Choo acrylic sunglasses  2. Charlotte Olympia’s Plexiglas and satin clutch with jewel-encrusted enamel crown.
